Solving the Second Layer Edges (Step 4)

In this stage, we will focus on positioning the edges of the second layer correctly. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Identify the Edges

Look for the edge pieces that belong in the second layer. These pieces will not have yellow on them.

Step 2: Position the Cube

Hold the cube so that the white face is on the bottom and the yellow face is on top.

Step 3: Use the Right Algorithms

Depending on the position of the edge pieces, you will need to use specific algorithms to place them correctly. Here are some common algorithms:

• For moving an edge piece from the top layer to the front left: U' L' U L
• For moving an edge piece from the top layer to the front right: U R U' R'

Step 4: Repeat as Necessary

Continue using the algorithms until all the second layer edges are correctly positioned.
